Welcome to Part 2 of our Summer Make-Along with Pattymac Knits! This week, we're featuring the felt Pocket Kitty from Swoodson Says. We've had our eyes on this cute pattern ever since it was first posted! The kitty is a perfect companion for the Felt Mouse Friend, and just right for little hands - I made a whole pile of them!
A couple of our kittens traveled with us to the playground. As you can see, they had a great adventure!
The kitty project is also great for using small pieces of felt you may have on hand. I always use wool blend felt for best results. If you need some, there's a link in the supply list below.
You can find Patty's make-along video HERE.
Here's what you'll need:
- Pocket Kitty pattern (it's free, yay!)
- Felt pieces (for each kitty, you'll need 2 pieces, approximately 3 x 5 inches)
- Embroidery floss
- Embroidery needle
- Sharp scissors
- Polyester stuffing
- Any other embellishments you like!
Get your kitty pattern now! If you still need the mouse pattern, you can get it HERE.
Be sure to follow us on Instagram for more crafty fun - we've got more projects in the works for the coming months!
